Remote Console 

Use Remote Console to access the file server console from a workstation and 
turn the workstation into a virtual file server console. You can then load and 
unload modules, execute all console commands, and copy files to the file 
server's NetWare directories or DOS partition.

Option

The Option menu item provides three options: 

1. Change Screen - Changes the active screen if more than one screen is 
     available. 

 2. Change Font - Changes font size. There are three sizes to choose from: 
     small, medium, and large. 

 3. Exit - Terminates  Remote Console.

Change Screen 

Changes the active screen. If you have several modules running on this server, 
you can change the active screen. 

Note that if you use the normal NetWare Server key sequence <Alt><Esc> to 
switch active screens, you will actually change active OS/2 screens.

There are three size of fonts you can choose: Large, Medium, Small.

Exit
Exit from remote console.

The Help menu item provides one option: 

Help Overview - An overview of the Remote Console.

Remote Console Overview 

Use Remote Console to access the file server console from a workstation and 
turn the workstation into a virtual file server console. You can then load and

server's NetWare directories or DOS partition.

Password

Enter the password for remote console. This password is for remote console only 
and was entered at the time REMOTE.NLM was loaded on the server. 


═══ 9. Directory Scan ═══

Directory Scan 

Enter the directory path that you want to scan. You can scan all NetWare 
volumes and directories and the local drives on the server. 

Example 

     To scan the Public directory on volume SYS:, enter: 

     SYS:PUBLIC 


═══ 10. Files List ═══

Files List 

Displays a list of files in the directory for the path that was entered. Use 
the scroll bars to view the list. 


═══ 11. Server List ═══

Server List 

Displays a list of Servers. Select one to start a remote console sesson.
